This is an annual competition held by the top manufacturer of water ground pumps. Installers from every region of the country compete locally for a chance to then compete nationally at the annual event. Competitors must asseble one of their pumps from a box of parts. The winner is the competitor with the best time.

The client loved the campaign that was done the previous year for it's strong graphics of the arm and wrench. They wanted this competition to focus on their newest pump model.
I presented the concept of an arm holding the new model pump. In this way we can refresh the imagery, but meet the goals of the new competition. The pump length was 3 feet, so in the photo shoot I used foreshortening to achieve the look and fit in the product.
To save on project client cost, I set up the shoot and used my own arm as the model. I created the background using two cloud photos with a good amount of editing and embellishment.
