This is a community-based program for High School students in the community to see and experience what a career in healthcare or medical lab science could be like. It is meant to peak their interest in science and medicine and get them to see what STEM subjects in school relate to in the real world.
The goal was to to create a booklet that can be distributed in schools to get students and parents interested in signing up for the multi-day event.

The design is meant to let the photos do most of the talking, so you get to picture yourself in these various medical lab settings. I wanted to keep the text content as brief as possible because people want just the facts without a lot of copy.
I came up with the idea that the headlines should just present themselves in the most easy way to find information, which I focused on labeling after the core questions a journalist must answer: Who, What, When, Where, Why and How (Known as the five W's and H). It's a no-nonsense approach to presenting information.
The program received an overwhelming number of requests to participate by high school students, and was a very big success.
This won a GDUSA award and featured in it's Design Annual magazine.
